Weekly Drop-in Classes
Our weekly meditation drop-in classes are taught by qualified Buddhist teachers, and are very easy to understand and apply to our daily lives. The classes are suitable for both beginners and more advanced practitioners, and emphasize how to use meditation and subsequent practices amidst the busyness of modern, daily life. The union of Buddha’s teachings within our daily life is the essence of Kadampa Buddhism.
All of our classes are currently being live streamed from Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia.

Anger Management with Gen Dornying (28 June – 26 July)
According to Buddhism of all our negative minds, anger is the most destructive. Yet many believe anger is a force for change, not understanding the destruction it actually causes.
In this course, we’ll learn to become a scientist of our own mind, seeing which states make us peaceful and strong and which cause emotional problems and damage relationships.
We will explore the following and more:
- Can you fight for what you believe in without anger
- Does anger create change or does it stifle it?
- Is anger a natural part of being human?
- Is anger ever justified?
We’ll also learn how meditation can help to reduce our reliance on anger and eventually eradicate it from our minds altogether.

Living Meaningfully, Dying Joyfully with Gen Dornying (weekly)
We are alive, therefore we will die.
This is the simplest, most obvious truth, yet few of us have come to terms with this fact.
Once we do, we’ll find the energy to use our life in a meaningful way, and to help others through this very natural process.
Join us online as Gen Dornying continues to give commentary to the book Living Meaningfully, Dying Joyfully by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, an invaluable handbook to help ourselves and others and become free from trivial worries and concerns.
Although this class is run sequentially, you can join anytime.

Self-confidence is an inner strength that develops from how you live your life. If you live your life concerned with the welfare of others, you feel better about yourself, and naturally feel more confident.
At our next series of weekday meditation classes, learn what true self-confidence is, how to develop it, and what to do when it wanes.

The course is based on the New Meditation Handbook by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. This extremely practical guide is an indispensable handbook for those seeking happiness and meaning in their lives.

Meditation & Buddhism classes offer simple, practical methods to improve the quality of our life and develop inner peace. Each class consists of two guided meditations and teachings to help us solve our daily problems, let go of negative minds and find the lasting happiness we seek.
